Leclair Decor Roles

Videographer-Editor (Full-time)


We’re seeking a creative individual to champion our presence on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as a Videographer + Video Editor! In this role, you will shoot videos that capture both Leclair Decor and LD Shoppe in order to effectively tell visual stories about the brands. To be successful, you’ll need a keen eye, steady hands, and a passion for getting the right shot! Reports To: Marketing Manager What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Marketing Manager and Lead Creative Producer to discuss various productions, creative projects, as well as shot lists and storyboards
  • Assist with organizing and managing all video/media assets as well as maintaining a safe system for backing up all content
  • Work on weekly shoots for YouTube productions, which involves composing shots, camera operating, and lighting design (this will be in both a green screen studio, as well as at off-site locations)
  • Edit a wide range of videos including, but not limited to, ‘how-to’ and lifestyle videos for our website, social media content, digital advertising, and email marketing campaigns Video editing duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Reviewing shooting scripts and raw materials, following shot list and shooting footage based on priority, trimming footage and arranging the sequence of the video, inputting music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, creating rough and final cuts
  • Set-up and take down equipment before and after use
  • Test, maintain, and store equipment safely and effectively
  • Organize and index all video footage for the Marketing Team
  • Seamlessly manipulate and edit video content while adhering to our brand standards and guidelines
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and quality of content

  • Are proficient in programs such as Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, VSCO, Videoleap by Lightricks

Design Lead (Full-time)


We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Design Lead to join our growing Design Team! The ideal candidate will have experience in a leadership role on large, high-end residential construction projects and have a demonstrated talent for both interior design and project management. Our Design Leads oversee the creative direction and design choices for our full service projects, as well as lead the 3-person teams that work collaboratively on each assigned project. Because of this, we’re looking for someone with an impeccable eye for design, strong technical skills, and a knack for effective and confident communication. Reports to: Design Manager
What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, functional requirements and intended use of space
  • Prepare all design project documents including proposals, invoices and contracts, etc.
  • Prepare, submit, revise, and manage project budgets
  • Set, communicate, and maintain project budgets and timelines
  • Develop detailed, high-end design concepts in line with client preferences and the Leclair Decor signature style
  • Direct and oversee the development of detailed plans and design materials, such as mood boards, millwork elevations, floor plans, 3D models, 2D mockups and specification lists, etc.
  • Coordinate and manage third-party service providers, such as storage facilities, movers, contractors, millworkers, and tradespeople
  • Prepare and submit final design packages and specifications for execution
  • Oversee the construction and renovation process to ensure design concepts are executed in line with the initial vision, Leclair Decor signature style, and quality standards
  • Direct and oversee the ordering, receiving, delivery, and installation of relevant items
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, builders, and service providers to facilitate successful project completion and sustain positive relationships
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support successful outcomes for the company
  • Manage your design team (Design Technician and Design Associate)
  • Create and oversee your design team’s Weekly Calendar, daily schedules, and team check-ins
  • Manage your team’s Gross Revenue Tracker
  • Perform annual or semi-annual reviews of the Design Technician and Design Associate
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Team to schedule project photoshoots, create project-related content for blog posts, social media, etc.

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design
  • 2-5 years of experience working in the design field in a Design Lead or Senior Designer role
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and full Google Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage is reimbursed)

Finance Coordinator (Full-time)


We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team as a Finance Coordinator. In this role, you will bring your expertise to the team to ensure that all processes are accurate, efficient, and always improving. You will be participating in various aspects of finance including, but not limited to, accounts payable, inventory reports, payroll, and preparing bank deposits. If you have an aptitude for efficiency and experience in finance, we encourage you to apply! Reports To: Finance Manager What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Execute, monitor, and track deliverables to timelines, and perform tasks including dissemination, review, and sign-off to support the timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring systems and checklists
  • Aid in supervising the Finance Team to ensure operations and processes are efficient
  • Gather and collect all financial data and information to verify whether it has been accurately entered in the system and monitor/retrieve financial details when required
  • Review and post accounts payable ledger entries, manage and process invoices, prepare and review accounts receivable, and perform other balance reconciliations
  • Ensure timely completion of the assigned accounting tasks that are in accordance with the outlined policies and procedures
  • Be present at various internal meetings to address any issues, provide appropriate guidelines for improving processes, and identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports
  • Prepare payroll on a biweekly basis and prepare/publish payroll reports
  • Remit and process GST/HST reports monthly
  • Monitor all financial transactions and recommend ways to increase effectiveness
  • Prepare bank deposits as required and complete the transactions
  • Ensure that billed invoices are accurate, coded, entered, posted, and paid in a timely manner

  • Are extremely experienced with Excel and other MS office products

LD Shoppe Roles

Customer Service Associate (Full-time)


We’re seeking a passionate and responsible Customer Service Associate to join our team! The customer service team provides LD Shoppe customers with exemplary customer service both online and in person. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a creative problem solver who thinks outside the box to find solutions. You should have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing the best possible experience for our customers. No day is the same at LD Shoppe, so the ability to wear many hats and embrace challenges is a must!
Reports to: Customer Service Manager What You'll Be Doing:

  • Answer inquiries from customers in person, over the phone, and by email
  • Provide information to customers concerning goods, services, schedules, and rates
  • Keep organized logs of customer follow ups and order timelines, and flag delays or other information requiring extra attention
  • Investigate complaints regarding company goods, services and policies
  • Arrange for refunds, exchange, and credit for returned, damaged, or delayed merchandise
  • Take customer orders and promote goods and services
  • Respond to all inquiries and issues in a timely manner
  • Keep customer orders up-to-date and ensure accuracy of information
  • Stay on top of communications to catch and resolve issues promptly
  • Initiate regular follow-ups until orders have arrived or are picked up

LD Shoppe Design Consultant (Full-time)


If you’re confident, solution-oriented, and passionate about all things interior design, you might just be the perfect person to become our LD Shoppe Design Consultant! In this role, you will be a leader in our showroom and assist clients who are seeking an elevated level of support and attention in our showroom. As the LD Shoppe Design Consultant, you will need to have a knack for decorating and be passionate about assisting customers find the perfect pieces for their homes. The individual in this role is expected to dive deep into product knowledge and become an in-house expert on our beautiful products! You will also provide our guests with expert advice on selections for their home, both on the fly on our showroom floor, and during scheduled consultations. Reports to: Boutique Showroom Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Exemplify our values, beliefs, and aesthetic in everything you do
  • Be a role model to our sales associates with your high level of professionalism
  • Always offer the highest level of customer service to our guests
  • Educate potential clients on Interior Design services offered by Leclair Decor
  • Own all phases of the client experience, from initial contact to the delivery of products
  • Be a fountain of knowledge when it comes to items on our website manufacturers, and be able to suggest pieces that meet client’s design needs
  • Provide well-informed advice to clients who book design consultations
  • Lead 60-90 min consultations with customers as needed
  • Based on the customers needs, create mood boards and shopping lists that highlight the LD style and their vision
  • Assist in developing product knowledge resources to help more of our team members be experts like you
  • Offer advice to clients who come into our showroom looking for quick design advice before finalizing a purchase - you will have the power to make sales happen
  • Help maintain the store, which includes organizing samples, merchandising, and pricing
  • Take the lead in the Custom Section of the showroom and assist clients with everything that comes along with placing custom orders

Boutique Stockroom Associate (Full-time)


We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented Boutique Stockroom Associate to join our Shipping Team! In this role, you will assist with packing and shipping decor orders and ensure that they are sent to our loyal customers. To thrive in this position, you will need to be someone who is detail-oriented, loves to stay organized, and enjoys being a part of a collaborative and dynamic team.

Reports To: Shipping Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Maintain the stockroom and ensure it is clean and organized at all times
  • See the shipping process through from start to finish, which includes pulling stock for online orders, assembling shipping materials, recording contents, packing goods to be shipped, and affixing identifying information and shipping instructions
  • Receive shipments and allocate them accordingly, which includes unpacking, coding, and transporting goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Assist in loading and unloading store goods when received
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods
  • Follow up with clients via email about their shipments, which includes handling tracking issues, waiting times, and replacement pieces
  • Lift and move boxes and furniture when/where necessary
