We’re pushing a client on wood beams for a vaulted family room right now and will definitely be showing them this photo of a crisp white family room that is completely cozied up by the wood ceiling beams. They bring down the eye line a bit (which you sometimes want in a family room with extra high ceilings), draws attention to the architectural interest of the vault, and adds so much warmth to the entire space. To me, it’s a total no-brainer! (Honourable mentioned to those side chairs… OMG.)

: I'm loving the textures in this inviting entryway. Herringbone brick is interesting as well!

: I was reading a

design blog

over the weekend that spoke about the comeback of vertical wall panelling. Whether you’re updating existing wall panelling or integrating it in a new design to add texture, I think this dark painted panelled bedroom is a fresh take on the 70’s classic.

This eclectic powder room is so unique and playful. Loving the contrast between the soft colours and the wood & black vintage mirror.

I love that cane webbing is having a comeback in furniture right now. You can't go wrong with natural textures like this!

I love how this bathroom , in particular the shower, was done! The contrasting colours and tiling worked out beautifully paired with the brass fixtures. I think the double shower heads are genius and something we’re starting to see more of!
