This project was all about creating a home that felt upscale and impressive but still totally relaxed. Our clients were a young, easy-going and (at the time) childless couple who love to travel but both work from home quite a bit while they’re at home in Ottawa. They wanted the house to feel open and airy, but still cozy, which can sometimes be a challenge - especially with soaring ceilings. To achieve the vibe, we focused on simple, classic finishes and statement pieces throughout. We love that this house has wow factor without feeling like there’s ‘too much’ of anything.
