Fall Applesauce
A cozy, no-fuss recipe that will make your whole home smell like the season. Top with homemade granola for the perfect fall breakfast or snack.

Ingredients
12 washed apples (Empire or similar), skins on, chopped into cubes
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp cinnamon (for light seasoning), or 1 tbsp for a bolder flavour — swap in pumpkin spice for an even more fall-forward twist
1/2 cup water - or more if you prefer a thinner consistency
1/2 cup of maple syrup - more to taste
Instructions
Combine the chopped apples, lemon juice, cinnamon (or pumpkin spice), and water in a large pot.
Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Use a hand mixer to purée, breaking down any remaining skins until smooth.
Let cool for 30–40 minutes before serving.
Top with homemade granola and enjoy — you and everyone you know will love it.
