Our Leclair Westmount clients initially approached us about helping them with a few 'small projects' to spruce up their newly purchased home in the historic Westmount neighbourhood of Montreal. The small projects quickly evolved into a full tilt remodel once we got into the space and we were fully inspired by its untapped potential. A century-old stone home last updated in what we think was the 80s or early 90s, the house had amazing bones but felt caught between two lifetimes. Our clients were a vibrant young family and we wanted to do justice to the home’s classic appeal while still bringing it into this millennium. The furniture and lighting choices throughout are fun, modern, and full of colour and texture, but we stuck (mostly) to a backdrop of airy white walls with wainscotting in a few key places for added interest.
